Chronological review of gang groups organized and free from the prisons of Panama

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to make known the reasons that lead members of organized gangs who are released from Panamanian prisons, to relapse into crime, with their consequent redirection to that prison, and above all, how to reduce the levels of recidivism. The foregoing is the product of a meticulous scientific investigation carried out for this purpose with the general objective of exhaustively and chronologically reviewing the organized gang groups released from the prisons ofPanama. The results obtained in the aforementioned research are reviewed from the perspective of the state of the art, and based on them, a proposal is presented, which finally allows us to consider the decrease in this rate of criminal recidivism and thus produce a substantial improvement in well- being. of the population mainly from the province of Panama Oeste, through the reduction of crime rates generated mainly by the well-known criminal gangs existing in the territory of the Republic of Panama.
